A Quick Guide to Tic-Tac-Toe
The Timeless Paper-and-Pencil Game
Tic-Tac-Toe, also known as Noughts and Crosses, is a simple strategy game for two players. It's one of the first abstract strategy games that children learn, but it still provides a fun, quick challenge for adults.
The Rules
- The Goal: Be the first player to get three of your marks (either 'X' or 'O') in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- Taking Turns: Players take turns placing their mark in an empty square on the 3x3 grid.
- Winning: If you get three of your marks in a row, you win! The winning line will be highlighted.
- Drawing: If all nine squares are filled and no player has three in a row, the game is a draw.
Game Modes
Our version offers two ways to play:
- Player vs. Player: Grab a friend and play against each other on the same device.
- Player vs. AI: Challenge our computer opponent. With three difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, and Impossible), you can test your skills against different levels of strategic thinking. Can you beat the "Impossible" AI?
